The documentary QUEENDOM will screen on March 4th with the producer Igor Myakotin here in person for Q & A, discussion, and meetings with students. This film has received dozens of awards internationally and just finished up a theatrical run in the United Kingdom. Igor is an Emmy-nominated and BAFTA winning producer of several films, including the HBO documentary Welcome to Chechnya. He was named “40 under 40” by DOC NYC and was a Sundance producing fellow.

Logline: Gena, a q***r artist from Russia, stages radical performances in public that become a new form of art and activism- and puts her life in danger.

Don't forget!!! Today from 11-2 on the Kyser green you can stop by for the Pennie Wars. It's for the Natchitoches Humane Society and whoever wins gets a sponsored tailgate for a home baseball game. Please stop by! Plus there is puppies! Hope to see everyone there!
