Service League of Natchitoches

Last night, we celebrated and toasted the 2025–2026 Service League year and all of the women who made it so meaningful.

We recognized our Provisional Class as they officially moved into Active Membership, initiated our new Board Members, and welcomed our newest Provisional Class as they begin their own Service League journey. We also had the honor of celebrating our Active Members who are moving into Sustainer status after six years of dedicated service to the League and to our community.

Service League is built on friendship, leadership, volunteerism, and a shared commitment to making our community better. Nights like this are a reminder of the incredible impact that can happen when women come together to serve with heart and purpose.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, talents, and energy this year. Here’s to another year of service, friendship, and meaningful work ahead.

Vendor applications for Reading on the River are now open! 📚

There is no cost for participation, and each vendor is responsible for their own tent/booth space, table, chairs, and decorations. Each vendor should select a theme of their choice, whether centered on a popular children’s book or on an organization-specific theme. Vendors should provide at least one activity for attendees, such as storytelling, a small craft activity, or a coloring sheet.

This event is supported by Cane River National Heritage Area and the Natchitoches Parish Early Childhood Network.
