Join us for Ancestral Artistry, an award-winning documentary celebrating 300 years of architectural legacy by early Africans and Creoles of Color in Louisiana.
🏛️ This powerful film showcases traditional building trades like carpentry, masonry, and iron smithing passed down through generations, featuring the stories of master craftsmen and contemporary artisans preserving these vital traditions.
🌟 Natchitoches and the Cane River community are prominently featured with interviews from local voices including Nicol & FJ Delphin and Dustin Fuqua from Cane River Creole National Historical Park.
