‼️ Hero of the week 💙🍩💙

Good morning, Southeast! Last night was a busy one for our C Detail patrol team. Officer Sullivan, with assistance from K9 and Air1, made an outstanding arrest that helped keep dangerous drugs and a firearm off our streets.

During a traffic stop in the Southeast Precinct, Officer Sullivan asked the suspect to step out of the vehicle when the suspect fled the scene. Fortunately, Air1 was already in the area and quickly located the vehicle. Shortly afterward, the suspect was taken into custody without incident.

Officers recovered 38 grams of individually packaged fentanyl along with a firearm.

Great teamwork by everyone involved. Because of their efforts, Southeast is a little safer today!

We are excited to announce the Community School Readiness Fair at the Southeast Precinct on Saturday, July 18th from 12PM–4PM!

✅ Eye screenings
✅ Q&A opportunities about immunizations
✅ Community resources and much more!

🎈 Plus games, bounce houses, and fun for the whole family!

There are no sign-in requirements — just bring the family and enjoy an afternoon with us as we help get students ready for a successful school year! We look forward to seeing everyone there! 💙🍩💙

We had an amazing time spending the day with all of the kiddos, and honestly… we might have had even more fun than they did! 😄 Thank you for letting us be part of such a fun-filled day full of smiles, laughter, and great memories.

🚨 Park Smart, Nashville 🚨

The MNPD strongly encourages Nashvillians and visitors to lock your vehicle doors, secure all valuables—especially fi****ms—and REMOVE YOUR KEYS.

So far this year, 214 guns have been stolen from vehicles in Nashville. Just last week alone, 14 fi****ms were taken from autos. In total, 319 guns have been stolen in Davidson County in 2026, with 67% of those taken from vehicles.

At this same time last year, 305 guns had been stolen from vehicles. While we’re seeing some improvement, we need your help to keep the momentum going—Park Smart!

Remember, stolen guns and vehicles are often used in other crimes, including carjackings and robberies.
