Do you know a homebound senior adult in the Castalia area who may benefit from a hot, nutritious lunchtime meal?

Our Home Delivered Meals Program currently has a limited number of openings available for eligible participants. Individuals must meet program qualifications to receive services.

If you know someone who may qualify and could benefit from this program, please contact Tamika Hill at 252-459-1367 for more information and to determine eligibility.

Please help us spread the word so we can reach seniors in need throughout our community.

Today is a very special day for the Retired Guys Chess Club. They played their 150th Chess Tournament here at Southern Nash Senior Center in Bailey. Their very first tournament was hosted here in July of 2021 just weeks after opening back up following COVID. Today, nearly 5 years later, we had a total of 20 men and women playing and we were still missing many more who could not attend! Congratulations on 150 Tournaments Retired Guys!! 🥳♟️🏆

Spring is in full bloom here at Southern Nash Senior Center at our last two craft classes! 🌸🌷🌼In April we crafted these cute bunny wreaths to hang on our doors 🐰 and this week we got creative and made button bouquets!💐

We are excited to welcome Brenda Shields and Armeta Coley to Nash County's Home Delivered Meals Program!

These ladies have graciously chosen to give back to our community by delivering meals to homebound seniors along our Castalia route. Their kindness and willingness to serve will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the older adults we serve, and we are truly grateful to have them as part of our volunteer team.
