🌟 Now Enrolling: Senior Workforce Training Program 🌟

The HELP Center is proud to announce our Senior Workforce Training Program, designed exclusively for adults 55 and older who are ready to re-engage in the workforce, build new skills, and contribute their experience to meaningful community work.

Participants will gain valuable on-the-job training, working an average of 20 hours per week, and will be paid the highest applicable minimum wage whether federal, state, or local. Best of all, you can take part without affecting your Social Security benefits.

The HELP Center Announces Grand Opening of Food Pantry in Charlotte, NC

Charlotte, NC – The HELP Center is proud to announce the grand opening of its Food Pantry in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Monday, October 6, 2025. Located at 9731 Southern Pine Blvd, Suite J, Charlotte, NC 28273, the new pantry will be open to the public Monday through Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

This expansion represents The HELP Center’s continued commitment to addressing food insecurity and providing critical resources for families and individuals in need. The Charlotte Food Pantry will operate in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina and under the guidance of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), ensuring that nutritious food reaches those who need it most.

“Our mission has always been to bring hope and help to communities,” said leadership at The HELP Center. “Opening the Charlotte pantry allows us to extend our services and strengthen our fight against hunger in this region.”

Residents are invited to join us as we celebrate this important milestone and begin serving the Charlotte community.
