These are our photos from our Annual TrailBlazer event. We honored the late Senator Tommy Burks and his wife Senator Charlotte Burks for their great sacrifices to make our state a better place to live. Their granddaughter Amy New accepted the award on their behalf, and her remarks were touching and powerful. Thank you to everyone who made this night such a success!

Today Valerie Kibler Craig received the “Hometown Hero’s “ Award from the US Attorney of the middle district of Tennessee, Braden Boucek. Valerie supported the incredible US Atty victim advocate John Hernandez in retrieving a child who had been taken by his mother to another country to keep him from his father. John and Valerie met the child as he arrived back in the States, and gave comfort and support to this traumatized child on his remaining way home to be reunited with his father. While we were at the US Attorneys Office, we met with the fabulous US Attorney Rob McGuire who handled this case! And we also popped in to see another fabulous US Attorney, Jae Lim, our friend and former board member. ❤️

The Eberling Foundation has pledged to match up to $2,000 in donations for this very worthy cause. So far, we have raised $480 that the Eberling Foundation will match! We still have $$$$ to go! Thank you to those who made smaller donations with big hearts! Penny appreciates every generous gift to help her stay safe from her abuser, the man who tried to murder her, but DID murder her best friend.
