πŸ’™πŸ… As we closed out another school year, we took time to celebrate the dedicated staff members who help make the Tennessee School for the Blind a special place to learn, grow, and succeed.

During our End-of-Year Program, we recognized employees reaching service milestones, honored retirees for their years of commitment, and celebrated the lasting impact they have made on generations of students.

Thank you to every staff member whose dedication, expertise, and care help empower Tennessee students who are blind or visually impaired. Your work makes a difference every day. πŸ’™πŸ’›

A special thank you to Superintendent Richard Ray, who personally purchased and assembled the rocking chairs presented to our retirees as a tribute to their years of service.

As we reflect on this school year, we’re grateful for the meaningful experiences that brought learning to life for our students. One special highlight was Nashville Metro Police Department leading a mounted horse visit on campus, giving students the opportunity to interact through touch, conversation, and exploration.

Partnerships like these help create memorable, hands-on experiences that build confidence, curiosity, and connection for our students. Thank you to Nashville Metro PD and all of our community partners who continue to invest in and support the TSB community.
