Happy National D.A.R.E. Day! For more than 30 years THP has participated in the D.A.R.E. program to help kids resist drugs. Last year THP hosted three D.A.R.E training sessions where 50 law enforcement professionals from across Tennessee became certified D.A.R.E officers.

At today’s 2026 Three Stars of Tennessee Award ceremony, Gov. Bill Lee, First Lady Maria Lee, Tennessee Senator Becky Massey, Commissioner Jeff Long and Deputy Commissioner Greg Mays honored and remembered six first responders who lost their lives or sustained career‑ending injuries in the line of duty.

Important Information for Tennessee Driver Services Customers

Customers using an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) when applying for a Tennessee driver license or identification card may be required to provide additional documentation before a credential can be issued.

Please watch this video for more information about the requirement and what EAD cardholders should know before visiting a Tennessee Driver Services Center.

Being prepared with the appropriate documentation can help customers better understand the process and avoid delays during their visit.

The 2-year-old is 3', 30 lbs., with blonde hair and blue eyes, last seen in the area of Hilldale Road in Midway wearing Olaf pajama pants and no shirt or shoes.

Atreus Bird has a known medical condition that may impair his ability to return safely without assistance.
