Women's Political Collaborative of TN

Women's Political Collaborative of TN WPCTN's primary goal is the full and equal participation of women in government and the political process at all levels.

The Women’s Political Collaborative of Tennessee’s primary goal is the full and equal participation of women in government and the political process at all levels. Founded in 1973 as the Nashville Women’s Political Caucus, WPC worked for more than three decades to strengthen the position of women from elected and appointed officials to voters and advocates. In 2011, the Nashville Women’s Political

Caucus decided to undergo a name change and rebranding to reflect the organization’s shift to a statewide focus and the importance of women’s involvement and advocacy in the political process at all levels. The Women’s Political Collaborative of Tennessee continues to strive for full and equal participation of women in government and the political process, encouraging women to get involved in their community whether that means serving on boards and commissions, volunteering at the polls on election day, getting involved with the political party or candidate of their choice and making their voice heard among elected officials.
