Nashville Bar Association Young Lawyers Division The Young Lawyers Division of the NBA takes an active role in Bar programs and in other community activities.

The Nashville Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division (YLD) is a great opportunity for young lawyers to become involved in the Nashville legal community and the community at large. Being active in Young Lawyers Division (YLD) is a great opportunity for young lawyers to become involved in the Nashville legal community and the community at large. At the same time it allows young lawyers to establish a network of personal and professional relationships with their peers in the Nashville and legal community. Members of the NBA YLD must be under 36 years of age OR have graduated from law school within the previous 12 years as of the first day of the YLD year (November 1). YLD membership is included with membership to the NBA for eligible young lawyers unless you choose to opt out of the $25 dues surcharge. BENEFITS INCLUDE:

Social activities, such as social hours, wine tasting, picnics, hockey games, and Nashville Sounds games. The Annual Carbolic Smoke Ball, a black tie fundraiser for charity. This year's Ball was a spectacular success raising over $20,000 for CASA. MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION:
