The mission of the Tennessee Caregiver Coalition is to be responsive to the needs of caregivers by providing relief and support services.

We're looking for caregivers to participate in our Group Respite Programs! This is your chance to rest, recharge or take care of other responsibilities.

Take a much needed break, and drop off your loved one for our Senior Social Saturday, September 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or Parent's Night Out Saturday, September 26 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

If you or a loved one has an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD), Vanderbilt Kennedy Center wants to hear about your experiences with safety, law enforcement, or the criminal justice system. Your story can help inform policymakers and improve systems across Tennessee.

Please join us in congratulating our board member, Dr Feylyn Lewis Garrett, for being selected to join the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Metro Nashville Chapter. A well-deserved honor. We are so grateful for all the ways Dr Lewis supports the TCC and Tennessee caregivers.

The Sumner County Special Needs Collaborative is looking for community partners to help make this year's Caregiver Connections Women's Retreat a meaningful experience for women caring for loved ones with disabilities and special needs.

They are currently seeking:

Event volunteers
Door prize donations
In-kind donations for participant gift bags
A craft organizer

The retreat will be held on November 13 in Gallatin and will provide 40 female caregivers with a day of rest, relaxation, connection, beauty services, crafts, and a delicious meal.

Empowered: A Caregiver's Conference is coming up on September 16th at Temple Israel in Memphis. The conference is FREE for all family caregivers caring for those with Dementia and $50 for professionals.
