Join us for our State Review Board Meeting! Friday, May 15th at 9am CST, the State Review Board will meet to examine Tennessee's proposed nominations to the National Register of Historic Places. The meeting will be held at the Tennessee Historical Commission, located at 2941 Lebanon Pike in Nashville, as well as virtually.
The Board will vote on 6 nominations from across the state. Those nominations that are found to meet the criteria will be sent for final approval to the National Register of Historic Places at the U.S. Department of the Interior.
The nominations are:
•Methodist Episcopal Church South at Tazewell, Claiborne County
•African American Residential Districts in Nashville, TN, 1946-1975 MPDF, Davidson County
•Haynes Heights Historic District, Davidson County
•Historic County Facilities in Tennessee, ca. 1770-2000 MPDF, Statewide
•Lake County Courthouse, Lake County
•J.R. Watkins Products Building, Shelby County
