A 5th grade student recently walked into one of our counselors’ offices carrying anxiety, overwhelming emotions, and a lot on her mind.

Over time, that same student began building resilience, learning healthy coping skills, and taking better self-care.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, stories like this remind us how important it is for young people to have someone in their corner. At STARS, we’re proud to create spaces where students feel supported, seen, and connected.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember those who gave their lives in service to our country.

“To my STARS therapist: Thank you. I wouldn’t be here without you.”

This is why we do what we do.

Every day, STARS works to create safe, supportive spaces to provide young people with hope, health, and connection.

What a night with the Nashville Sounds!

We’re so grateful to the Sounds for inviting STARS and for their generous donation to support our mission. Plus, our Co-CEO Rodger Dinwiddie had the honor of throwing out the first pitch.

Thank you to everyone who made it out to the game in support of STARS!

What a way to wrap up the school year!

Our STARS Peer Leaders finished strong by
leading their School-wide Su***de Prevention
Initiative, including their 2nd Annual “Rock
On” Project and a wonderful Gratitude Tree
activity.

We are so proud of these students for
creating spaces filled with kindness,
encouragement, connection, and support for
one another. Young people continue to
remind us how powerful it can be when they
show up for each other.

⚾ It’s almost game day!

We’ll be at First Horizon Park this Friday, May 15, as the Nashville Sounds take on the Iowa Cubs.

We’re looking forward to seeing our Co-CEO Rodger Dinwiddie throw out the first pitch and coming together during Mental Health Awareness Month with our STARS Nashville community.

When you purchase tickets through STARS Nashville, a portion of proceeds is donated back to us, helping support our mission of hope, health, and connection.
