What strong finish to the Train 4 Life pilot program with Metropolitan Nashville Police Department at CrossFit East Nashville!

At our final session, athletes and officers came together one more time to complete post-program assessments and see the progress they’ve made over the past several weeks.

It’s been incredible to watch the relationships, encouragement and teamwork grow throughout this program. We’re so proud of everyone who showed up, put in the work and made this pilot a success!

ICYMI: Antonio Simpson, 46, on the city's most wanted list, was arrested by MNPD officers on the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force. He faces a s*x crimes indictment where the victim is a teenage girl he supervised at a fast-food restaurant. 6 guns, 2 showing stolen, were found in his apartment.

We are grateful to Nashville State Representative John Ray Clemmons for surprising Lt. Mike Hotz with a proclamation recognizing Hotz’s compassion for counseling a stranger away from su***de recently. The man was on a downtown bridge threatening to jump.

Representative Clemmons presented the proclamation, signed by himself and House Speaker Cameron Sexton, at MNPD Central Precinct evening shift roll call.

An investigation is underway into this afternoon’s exchange of gunfire between East Precinct patrol officers and a suspect at the Royal Inn on Dickerson Pike. No one was struck. The shooting suspect and 2 other occupants of the room are in custody. Officers were on scene as part of an investigation into a stolen vehicle. More info ⤵️
