Congratulations to Jacque' Burton, a veteran Clarksville-Montgomery Co. education support professional, on being sworn in as a new member of the Clarksville-Montgomery Co. School Board!

Burton retired from her position as English Language Learner Assistant at Hazelwood Elementary School in Clarksville earlier this year and decided to run for the school board.

"Throughout my career as an education support professional, I gained firsthand insight into classroom environments, student services, and the importance of collaboration between staff and families," Burton said. "I have been a strong advocate over 15 years, and I have a lot of knowledge to share in my retirement to build stronger public schools in our area."

Congratulations to Quanita Adams on being named among Nashville Public Education Foundation's Inspiring Educator honorees!

Quanita is a Computer Science and Mathematics educator at Stratford STEM Magnet High School, where she advances equitable access to high-quality STEM education.

Her contributions to the Computer Science Instructional Design Team help shape innovative and effective learning experiences for students. Quanita is an instructor for the NPEF and MNPS program, Tech Goes Home, and serves as a board member of the Tennessee Education Association. She is also the inaugural NPEF Teacherpreneur first place winner, a two-time Teacher of the Year, and a TEA Distinguished Educator.
