Radnor Lake is a not a typical park, in that it's a wildlife refuge with a goal to preserve and protect the natural area from development. Staying on the clearly marked trails is one way we do this and it's why the animals feel safe enough to come a lot closer than we'd expect them to, and how we get to see so many of them in their natural habitat.
