Congratulations to Tim Hill on his retirement after 41 years of service to Metro Nashville!

Last week, our office gathered at Swett’s Restaurant to celebrate Tim’s incredible career and thank him for the dedication, leadership, and commitment he has brought to public service over the past four decades. It was a wonderful afternoon spent sharing memories, laughter, and appreciation with Tim, his family, and the entire Register of Deeds team.

As we reflected on Tim’s many contributions, we were reminded of the lasting impact he has made on our office and the citizens of Nashville and Davidson County. The celebration was made even more special when State Representative Harold Moses Love Jr., who happened to be dining at Swett’s, stopped by to offer his congratulations and join in recognizing this important milestone.

Thank you, Tim, for 41 years of outstanding service. We wish you all the best in retirement and hope this next chapter is filled with happiness, good health, and time with the people you love most.

It was another wonderful day joining the Bellevue community for the annual Bellevue Community Picnic last Saturday! Our team had a great time meeting residents, sharing information about our Property Alert and Fraud Alert programs, helping voters register, and answering questions about the services available through the Davidson County Register of Deeds Office.

We always enjoy connecting with the community and helping residents learn more about protecting their property records and staying informed. Thank you to the Bellevue Harpeth Chamber of Commerce for including us again this year and for organizing another great event! 💛✨

It was truly an honor to attend FiftyForward’s 70th Anniversary celebration at City Winery Nashville last night during Older Americans Month! For seven decades, FiftyForward has enriched the lives of older adults across Middle Tennessee through wellness programs, lifelong learning opportunities, caregiver support, volunteer engagement, and meaningful community connection.

Our Office has proudly partnered with and supported FiftyForward through sponsorships, visits to senior centers across Nashville, community events, and educational outreach that helps older adults protect themselves from property fraud and scams. We have enjoyed connecting with seniors through presentations and conversations about the services and programs available through our office, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support an organization that does so much for our community.

Thank you to everyone at FiftyForward for the incredible work you do to support and uplift older Americans every day. Congratulations on 70 years of incredible impact, advocacy, and service to our community!🎉💜
