The Administrative Operations Coordinator for the Community Review Board (CRB) provides high-level administrative support to the executive staff by managing operational activities, maintaining and processing departmental finances, handling official correspondence, and assisting with internal human resources related duties and related documents as assigned. The qualified candidate will be highly skilled, organized, and goal driven with strong attention to detail.  

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree plus two (2) professional experience in an administrative or technical field.

*For this specific position, there will be no substitution.*

Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply.

Note: Per Metro Ordinance No. SO94-1078. All employees of the Metropolitan Government shall be residents of the State of Tennessee or become residents of the state within six (6) months of employment as a prerequisite to employment with the Metropolitan Government.

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Experience with department budgets, accounts payable, and managing financial records. 
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom), and project management platforms 
* Experience with accounting or HRIS software.

✨North Nashville, We are headed your way!✨ September’s Community Review Board meeting will occur on Monday - September 28th from 5-7pm at the Parkwood Community Center on Vailview Dr. This your opportunity to weigh in on matters regarding public safety and policing in your area and beyond. The board will be reviewing the final Use of Force report with our research team, discussing ongoing cases, and addressing current issues that arise. Your voice is our mission so show up and let us know your perspectives. See you there!
