Big Trucks, Bright Futures! 🚧
Our Public Works Department had an absolute blast attending Methodist Church Kids Space Big Truck Day!
We loved chatting with the kids and teaching them all about how public works keeps our community safe and moving forward every single day. The real stars of the show, however, were the trucks! The children got to see a dump truck up close and watch a leaf machine in action, learning exactly what these mighty machines do on the job site.
Thank you to Methodist Church Kids Space for having us out! Who knows? We might have just met some of our future team members!

Would your business, daycare, school, or organization like a visit from our Public Works team? Contact Public Works Director Jason Glover at 252-459-3962 to learn more about scheduling an educational visit.

Building Community Connections: Public Works Inspires Young Minds at Kidz Place 2 Bee
The Town of Nashville Public Works Department recently teamed up with Kidz Place 2 Bee for their exciting "Construction Day" event. The visit was a fantastic opportunity to teach the children about the vital, everyday role that public works plays in keeping our community safe, clean, and running smoothly.
The highlights of the day were undoubtedly the heavy machinery demonstrations. The kids got a front-row seat to watch a massive dump truck and a powerful backhoe in operation, learning how these incredible tools are used to repair roads, fix water lines, and build the infrastructure we all rely on. Through interactive demonstrations and engaging Q&A sessions, the Public Works team didn't just showcase equipment —they inspired the next generation of community helpers, engineers, and builders!
Would your business, daycare, school, or organization like a visit from our Public Works team? Contact Public Works Director Jason Glover at 252-459-3962 to learn more about scheduling an educational visit.

Thank you to Kidz Place 2 Bee for inviting us to be part of such a fun and educational day!
