Excited to be down at Greeley this morning kicking off NH Hunger Solutions run with Matty Gregg. Food insecurity is a critical issue here in NH and we must do everything we can to make real change. If you’re free get down here. Fire trucks and runners coming in just about 15 minute.

On site at the 2nd Annual Sustainability Fair today. This is an especially profound one for me because we are sharing our detailed and powerful plan to make real change here in Nashua. We are here until 2pm so come on down and join the fun.

Honored to be featured on this panel to talk all things NH politics. Come join the conversation on Sunday.

Honored to be featured on this panel to talk all things NH politics. Come join the conversation on Sunday.

NH Politics 101 is a grassroots effort, in collaboration with UU Church of Nashua and 603 Forward to help the "average" person get more involved.

I had always wanted to "get involved" but didn't know how. An opportunity arose for me to run to be a Representative in the NH House of Representatives, and even though I wasn't sure I could do it, I jumped in and was elected. Now I want others like me to learn more about how I did it, and how they can do it too.
Join us on April 14th, 2:00-4:00pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashua in a bipartisan, relaxed, no-pressure environment, where we aim to "demystify" NH politics.

- Conversation about the branches of government, the NH House and Senate, and how a bill becomes a law
- How YOU can participate, regardless of where you are starting (even if you currently don't vote!), whether that be voting, supporting a campaign, or running for office
- A demo on the NH General Court website, where you can see what bills are being voted on, and how YOUR representatives are voting.
- A panel discussion with local and state representatives
- Networking event to connect with others with similar political interests

**** FREE on-site childcare is available! ****

Registration is not required but highly recommended. We hope to see you there!

Just getting home from a joint meeting where we discussed the new Livable Nashua Sustainability Plan. I am so grateful that our city not only prioritizes our plan to combat the climate crisis, but is truly leading the charge here in NH. This goes to the full board tomorrow evening with the goal of announcing our adoption by Earth Day.

Last night was the Inauguration of the 112th Board of Aldermen. It was lovely to see so many dedicated friends and colleagues get sworn in. Can’t wait to get to work.

Processing grief over twenty years later and trying to help my kiddos so the same. It’s been heavy explaining what happened to an inquisitive 4 year old. He can’t wrap his head around why someone would do this. Neither can I buddy. Then having the more adult conversation with Elsa about how it was a defining moment in my early adulthood. How it took away our sense of safety. How it crushed our souls and then brought us all together as Americans.

I didn’t really want to come but I am glad we did. You can’t look away from tough moments in history.

I wasn’t feeling awesome today. But this matters a great deal. So I put on my shoes and went out to support my colleagues who I know continue to work very hard to make this a city I can be so proud to raise my kids in. If you’re feeling less than awesome, I get it. But thankfully a municipal race doesn’t often come with long lines. And the city has nine different polling locations to keep it that way. So go and vote, please. Polls are open until 8pm.

Vote for these incredible leaders on Tuesday November 7.
