This year's Christmas Parade downtown was "FIRE"! HA! See what we did there?
Not a bad way to spend the evening. Riding in the best-looking fire truck around... waving at all the kiddos who were so excited to watch the parade go by... getting into the holiday spirit. Even though it was ohhhh so cold, it was another great Christmas Parade in the books!

Fireworks Fun Without the Firetruck Run! 🔥🚒

Friendly 4th of July fire safety tips:

1. Keep it legal – Only light fireworks during the approved times July 3 & 4 - 1 PM to 11 PM
2. H2-Oh! – Have a water hose or bucket nearby, just in case your fireworks decide to be a little extra.
3. Grill responsibly – Keep your grill a safe distance from buildings, and never leave it unattended.
4. Watch the little ones – Sparklers look innocent, but they burn hotter than Texas asphalt in July!

Let's all celebrate with pride, joy, AND safety—because nothing ruins a party like a call to 911!

As the temperatures continue to drop, many people are turning to space heaters to stay warm and cozy. But with this comes the importance of safety. 🔥❄️

Here are some essential tips to keep in mind when using a space heater:

1️⃣ Never leave a space heater unattended - Always turn it off when you leave the room or go to bed. 2️⃣ Keep flammable objects away - Make sure there are no blankets, curtains, or furniture near the heater. 3️⃣ Place it on a flat, stable surface - Avoid placing heaters on carpets or rugs. 4️⃣ Use a heater with an automatic shut-off - For extra peace of mind, choose one with built-in safety features. 5️⃣ Inspect the heater regularly - Check for any signs of wear or damage, like frayed cords.

Stay warm and stay safe, everyone!
