Shoe Alley Ribbon cutting, Tuesday, Sept 15 at 6 PM - Come meet and talk with the artists. 57 Shoe sculptures made from steel, glass, tiles, clay, plastic, plates, tools, coffee parts, car parts, and hidden gems! Located in Downtown Nappanee between KEY Boutique and Bella's books. Worried about it getting dark earlier - well, it's all lit up too!

🚌 School Bus Safety: When Do You Stop?
School is back in session! That means school buses are back on the road. Let’s keep our NorthWood Panthers safe this year.

🛑 The Simple Rules:
• Two-Lane Road: ALL cars going BOTH ways must stop.
• Road with a Turn Lane: ALL cars going BOTH ways must stop.
• Road with a Grass Median or Wall: Only cars BEHIND the bus must stop. Oncoming cars can go carefully.

⚠️ Quick Safety Checklist
• Flashing Yellow Lights: Bus is stopping. Slow down!
• Flashing Red Lights & Stop Arm: STOP! Do not pass.

• Wait: Do not move until the stop arm goes back in and the bus starts driving.

🌿🍂 IMPORTANT NOTICE: Brush Collection Ending & Leaf Season Schedule
Fall is almost here, and that means our services are changing soon! Here are the dates you need to know:

September 28th — Last Day for Brush Collection: Our weekly brush pickup ends for the season on Monday, September 28th. Please put your branches by the curb by 7:00 AM that morning. (Remember: Branches must be under 4 feet long and under 3 inches thick, with the cut ends pointing toward the street!)

October 5th — Leaf Collection Begins: Our crews will start picking up leaves on Monday, October 5th.
