NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Gerald Myles, 55, of 186 Highway 1008, Napoleonville, LA, on felony s*xual battery charges arising from an incident which occurred on or about May 30, 2026, at an assisted living facility near Napoleonville.

On June 1, 2026, deputies responded to a complaint at a facility for handicapped individuals in reference to a possible s*xual related offense. Detectives initiated an investigation and learned that an individual at the assisted living facility who was a tenant may have been the victim of a s*x related offense. Detectives were able to identify Gerald Myles as the suspect in the matter.

At the conclusion of the investigation, detectives secured an arrest warrant for Gerald Myles.

Detectives arrested Gerald Myles in Napoleonville on Tuesday and booked him into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

• S*xual Battery – Forcible Fondling, S*x Offense Registration Required

Gerald Myles remains incarcerated with a bond set at $20,000.

PATRICK S. FERNANDEZ, CARLOS L. SALINAS

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Patrick S. Fernandez, 38, of 198 Ewell St., Belle Rose, LA, and Carlos L. Salinas, 53, of 120 Progressive Boulevard, Houma, LA, on multiple charges arising from a traffic stop on LA. 1 near Labadieville early Tuesday.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle with equipment violations and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver now identified as Carlos L. Salinas and one passenger now identified as Patrick S. Fernandez and engaged both subjects in officer/violator interviews.

At the conclusion of those interviews, the deputy believed additional investigation was warranted. The deputy summoned a K-9 to the location. The K-9 conducted an open-air sniff of the suspect vehicle and alerted positive for the presence of controlled dangerous substances. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of ma*****na and drug paraphernalia which was attributed to Carlos L. Salinas.

Deputies conducted a search of the person and possessions of Patrick S. Fernandez at which time quantities of Tramadol and a second prescription medication was seized.

Patrick S. Fernandez was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

• Prohibited Acts; Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance to Wit: Tramadol
• Possession of a Legend Drug Without a Prescription
• Fugitive Warrant – Ascension Parish Sheriff’s

Patrick S. Fernandez remains incarcerated with a bond set at $125,000.

Carlos L. Salinas was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

• Possession of Ma*****na
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
• Vehicles Without Required Equipment or in Unsafe Condition

Carlos L. Salinas was released after posting bond.

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Todd A. Landry, 58, of 146 Ben Court, Pierre Part, LA, on felony charges arising from a residential burglary investigation in St. Mary Parish.

Detectives from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office contacted the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office regarding checks stolen in St. Mary Parish and cashed at a Pierre Part business. Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Detectives contacted the Pierre Part business owner concerning the check transaction. The business owner positively identified Todd A. Landry as the individual who presented the stolen check for cashing.

At the conclusion of the Assumption Parish investigation, detectives secured arrest warrants for Todd A. Landry. Detectives arrested Todd A. Landry on Tuesday and booked him into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

• Bank Fraud
• Theft
• Illegal Possession of Stolen Things

Todd A. Landry remains incarcerated with a bond set at $50,000.

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Noah Paul Stansbury, 18, of 138 Felicia Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on felony charges arising from a domestic incident at the aforementioned address Saturday morning.

Deputies were dispatched to the location and made contact with all parties including the suspect now identified as Noah Paul Stansbury. Deputies determined that Stansbury became enraged and caused damage to the residence and its contents.

Furthermore, Noah Paul Stansbury armed himself with a dangerous weapon and attempted to strike a family member. At the time of this incident, Stansbury was under an active protective order in favor of a resident of the home.

Noah Paul Stansbury was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

• Domestic Abuse Battery / Aggravated Assault
• Domestic Abuse Battery
• Violation of a Protective Order

Noah Paul Stansbury remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Billy Ray Landry, Jr., 30, of 1016 Judge Dupre Road, Breaux Bridge, LA, on a felony charges related to his alleged failure to return a borrowed automobile.

Deputies responded to a complaint on Moffett Court in which the complainant reported that she loaned Billy Ray Landry, Jr. an automobile on Friday with the understanding that he return it by Saturday morning. Billy Ray Landry, Jr. failed to return the vehicle by the stipulated time.

At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies secured an arrest warrant for Billy Ray Landry, Jr.

Deputies arrested Billy Ray Landry, Jr. on Saturday and booked him into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

• Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle

Billy Ray Landry, Jr. remains incarcerated with a bond of $15,000.

SUBJECT: AGGRAVATED ASSAULT UPON A PEACE OFFICER – 2 COUNTS – FIREARM, BRYANT TUNSON

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Bryant Tunson, 28, of 6057 San Juan Dr., Baton Rouge, LA, on felony assault charges arising from a traffic stop on LA. 308 near Paincourtville on Friday evening.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and conducted a stop of that vehicle. Contact was made with the driver now identified as Bryant Tunson. The deputy requested insurance information which Tunson could not provide resulting in a wrecker being summoned to tow the vehicle.

Bryant Tunson was asked if he had any fi****ms in the vehicle of which he replied no. The deputies followed Tunson to the vehicle to retrieve his personal items. In doing so, Bryant Tunson retrieved a handgun from the interior of the vehicle. Deputies quickly took control of the firearm and arrested Bryant Tunson. Deputies booked Tunson into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

• Aggravated Assault Upon a Peace Officer with a Firearm – 2 counts

Bryant Tunson remains incarcerated with bond set at $50,000.

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jesus Carmona Avila, 20, of 712 Onstead Street, Morgan City, LA, on a felony fugitive warrant from St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office on Friday morning.

Deputies proceeded to a construction job site in Amelia for the purpose of executing that warrant. Deputies located Jesus Carmona Avila and arrested him. Jesus Carmona Avila was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

Deputy Ratcliff tragically lost his life as a result of an on duty automobile crash on June 5, 1999.

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Crystal Ann Miller, 56, of 204 Freetown Lane, Belle Rose, La., on a felony fugitive warrant from the Plaquemine Police Department.

On Thursday afternoon, deputies responded to a disturbance complaint at the aforementioned address. Deputies made contact with the parties involved in the disturbance, one of which was Crystal Ann Miller. Upon conducting a warrants check, it was determined that Crystal Ann Miller was wanted by the Plaquemine Police Department.

Crystal Ann Miller was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

TYJAI MONTRELL JONES

NAPOLEONVILLE– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tyjai Montrell Jones, 21, of 218 Daggs St., Belle Rose, La., on felony charges arising from an off road vehicle incident which occurred on June 2, 2026, near Napoleonville.

A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. Detail observed three dirt bikes operating on LA. 1 north of Napoleonville in a careless manner. The deputy attempted a stop of the three dirt bikes but all three engaged the deputy in a pursuit situation. The deputy pursued one of the bikes as the other two fled in a different direction. The deputy pursued the one dirt bike onto LA. 1007. The driver of the dirt bike eventually crashed into the deputy’s unit at LA.1 and LA.403. The operator re-mounted the bike and continued on and was able to evade capture.

The deputy was able to identify the operator as Tyjai M. Jones and went to the suspects’ residence. As the deputy approached, Tyjai M. Jones fled on foot. The deputy applied for and was granted arrest warrants for Tyjai M. Jones.

On Thursday afternoon, Tyjai M. Jones turned himself into the Assumption Parish Detention Center and was booked on charges of:

*Aggravated Flight from an Officer
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property
*Resisting an Officer
*Off Road Vehicles on Roadway
*Carless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
*No Safety Helmet

Tyjai M. Jones remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
