This September for Su***de Prevention Month, we are joining a national effort in shattering the stigma surrounding mental health and offering hope. You don't need special training to save a life, you just need to be willing to start the conversation. Showing genuine care, listening without judgement, and creating a safe space can make all the difference for someone who is struggling. Check in with a friend, a loved one, or a colleague today. Let them know they are seen, they are heard, and they are not alone. If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available. Call or text 988 anytime. 💛

The youth in our communities are facing heavy pressures, making open conversations about mental health more critical than ever. NAMI reports that su***de is the second leading cause of death among youth ages 10-14 and the third leading cause among those aged 15-24 in the US. Talking about su***de prevention saves lives by bridging the gap between a struggling teens and kids and the help the deserve and need. When we normalize these topics, we show young people that asking for support is a brave step toward healing. Together, we can build a strong safety net where everyone knows the warning signs and stands ready to help. Lets make it our mission this month and always to keep communication lines open and be a safe space for our youth. Help is always available: call or text 988 anytime if you or someone you know needs help.
