📢 I’m ready to call it.

No severe weather in NW Ohio Or SE Michigan tonight.

There will be some showers, downpours and a few rumbles of thunder.

Very unlikely for much severe weather in Ohio at all aside from a very isolated storm, best chances SW toward Cincy.

Thanks for following my long posts. I am GLAD there was no severe weather but wish I had called for it sooner. We will be ready when it does happen. Never can trust such a strong low pressure fully this time of the year.

I know some will be mad. Go ahead and get it out in the comments if that makes you feel better. No one takes a busted forecast like this harder than me.

Here's some good news from Chris Vickers.

UPDATE: Incoming steadier and soaking rain. This is expected to *limit* the overall severe weather risk for Northwest Ohio. The SPC as removed the enhanced risk from northwest Ohio and maintains a lower “slight” risk. Still be alert and vigilant, while severe storm risks are lower, it’s still possible. Rain, thunderstorms and torrential downpours may still lead to localized flooding. (Radar 12:45 pm)

Area #1 circled below is quickly becoming the likely focus for a tornado outbreak later today. From St. Louis to Indianapolis ingredients are coming together for widespread spinning storms.

We continue to be in the "Slight Risk" area as of right now for Wednesday. The window for potential severe weather is from 12PM to 2AM Thursday. We hope to see some rain earlier Wednesday which may take some of the strength away from the warm front coming in later in the day, but plan for anything. We've had prevailing strong winds for June so far so this will couple with the added strong storms we could see Wednesday afternoon into the night. All hazards are possible including very large hail, possible winds in excess of 70-75 mph and also produce tornadoes. Remeber to have multiple ways of receiving weather notifications and stay weather aware folks!

Severe weather is possible today and tomorrow. Today's threat has been updated to a Slight Risk with two lines of storms moving through with the biggest threats damaging winds and large hail, but isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out. The stronger severe weather threat is Wednesday and Wednesday night when all hazards are on the table. Have multiple ways to receive weather warnings!
