The recent actions by the Supreme Court of the United States do not, at this time, have any effect on how Florida administers their elections including voting by mail. As outlined in Florida Election Law, all Florida voters are eligible to vote by mail, and we encourage voters who plan to vote by mail to make their request early giving themselves plenty of time to receive, complete and return their ballot. 📫

Voting by mail continues to be a secure and convenient option for Collier County voters, but voters must take the first step by making sure they have an active request on file. Visit CollierVotes.gov/RequestBallot to request your Vote-by-Mail ballot for the 2026 General Election and be ! 🗳️

With the completion of a manual recount for the Marco Island Referendum last week, our office is not required to conduct a manual audit. Therefore, the September 2nd Canvassing Board Meeting has been canceled. The Canvassing Board will reconvene on September 30 for the General Election Logic & Accuracy Test and General Election Authorizations.

Myth-Busting Monday 👊💥
Remember: A provisional ballot is utilized when a voter's eligibility is in question or when their voting or registration status cannot be verified at the polling site. Provisional ballots serve to protect against voter fraud and are subject to state law. All provisional ballots are examined by the canvassing board.
