14JUN2026 America's Flag DAY

On June 14, 1777, the delegates of the Second Continental Congress adopted a resolution declaring “that the flag of the United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new Constellation.”
Our flag stands as a living emblem of our storied past, shared sacrifice, common heritage, and enduring destiny as a people.

D‑Day 82nd Anniversary
June 6, 2026, marks the 82nd Anniversary of D‑Day, the historic Allied invasion of Normandy during World War II. This pivotal operation known as Operation Overlord began on June 6, 1944, and stands as one of the most significant military actions in the fight to liberate Europe from tyranny.

As Americans, let us take time to reflect on the immense sacrifices made for our freedom. We honor the courage, resilience, and unwavering determination of all who served, and we extend our deepest gratitude to our World War II Veterans who carried the weight of history on their shoulders.

USCG Auxiliary Naples Flotilla 93 is especially proud to recognize our own WWII Veteran, Richard Plager. Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your example. God Bless
