[para español👇] Every five years, the City of Napa is required to update its Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP). The 2025 update is now available for public review.

The 2025 UWMP summarizes the City’s water supply, demand, conservation, and overall water service reliability through 2050. Both the main plan and the Water Shortage Contingency Plan, which guides the City through supply shortfalls up to 50% or more, are available to review through June 16 on the City of Napa Water website and in person at the Utilities Department, the City Clerk's Office, and Napa County Library.

A public hearing for both documents will be held at the June 16 City Council meeting in the Council Chambers at City Hall (955 School St.). Written comments can be submitted to the City Clerk at [email protected].

Cada cinco años, la municipalidad de Napa está obligada a actualizar su Plan de Gestión del Agua Urbana (UWMP, por sus siglas en inglés). La actualización de 2025 ya está disponible para revisión pública.

[para español👇] The US National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area/Monterey California has issued a Red Flag Warning for parts of Napa County, in effect from 11 p.m. Wednesday, June 10 through 9 a.m. Thursday, June 11.

*IMPACTS: Any fires that start will likely spread rapidly due to gusty winds (up to 45 mph), extremely low humidity (12–18%), and dry fuels.

Make sure to plan ahead, have your evacuation plan in place, and know your evacuation zone. Sign up for emergency notifications and find zone information at readynapacounty.gov/472/Red-Flag-Warning.

PG&E has also issued a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) for parts of the area. If you're a PG&E customer, check whether your address is affected and sign up for alerts at pgealerts.alerts.pge.com

PG&E is opening a Community Resource Center in Napa for those affected by the PSPS:

Wednesday, June 10 from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Available resources: device charging, medical device charging, blankets, snacks, water, Wi-Fi, portable batteries, and ADA-accessible restrooms.

The Council will proclaim June 2026 as Pride Month, consider the first reading of an ordinance amending Napa Municipal Code Chapter 2.89, which governs Emergency and Disaster Preparedness, and consider amendments to the FY 2026/27 Budget.

[para español👇] The City of Napa is repaving and upgrading the employee parking lot adjacent to City Hall, as well as the lots in front of the Police Department and Fire Station 1. These lots will be intermittently closed from June 1 through June 11, 2026.

While this project does not affect access to City services, visitors should be aware that public parking in the area will be impacted during the closure. With more City employees also parking on nearby streets, downtown spots may be harder to come by, particularly around City Hall. We recommend allowing extra time to find parking during this period.

What to expect:
-The public parking spaces outside the Napa Police Department public entrance and the ChargePoint EV charging station in that lot will be temporarily unavailable during these dates: June 1 – June 5; June 10 - 11.
-The 2-hour public parking spaces on School St. in front of City Hall are not part of this project and will be available as usual.
-The closest public parking available during the closure will be on streets surrounding City Hall. The Clay Street Garage is also nearby if street parking is full. -The Napa City Council meeting scheduled for June 2 will proceed as planned.

She also participated in the Napa Makers Accelerator program, where she learned how to accurately price her goods to ensure profitability and the critical skill of valuing her own time.

“The Napa Makes Makers Accelerator program completely revolutionized my business! It taught me how to value my time, price my goods, and identify which products will not make enough money to produce. Even better, through connections I made in the program, I have more opportunities to display my work and I was introduced to a contact that led to a large hotel contract!”
