On Saturday, June 6th, had a great time participating as a non-profit resource table at the Annual Nyack African American Day Parade & Festival! 🎉

This incredible event brought together culture, amazing food, community advocacy, and a celebration of the many contributions African Americans have made to our society. It was wonderful to connect with families, community members, and fellow organizations while sharing information about the mentoring opportunities and resources available through our agency.

Thank you to the organizers for bringing this meaningful celebration together and creating a space that fosters unity, education, and community pride. We were honored to be a part of it!

Our agency was so happy to be invited to the Rockland BOCES Mental Health Fair for their teachers and staff!

Our team brought several interactive activities, including our 🎡 Mood Spinning Wheel, 📚 Decorate-a-Bookmark station featuring inspirational messages, and our 🍭 Lollipop Tree. These activities provided a fun and engaging way for participants to take a moment for themselves while learning about available community resources.

The event was also a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with the team at Rockland BOCES and share information about the services and support available to the families they serve.

Thank you to Rockland BOCES for including us in this meaningful event and for your continued dedication to the well-being of students, families, and staff.

On the morning of Friday, May 29th, Nyack Head Start came together for a Community Block Party for their families, providing an opportunity to connect with local organizations like .

Our team was honored to be invited and recognized as an important community resource. We enjoyed meeting families, sharing information about our mentoring programs, and building relationships that help strengthen our community.
