Blacklick Valley Ambulance is proud to announce that we have placed our 6th Advanced Life Support unit into service today after being inspected by Southern Alleghenies. We would like to thank all of our hard working, dedicated employees for helping to make purchases like this possible.

AEMT Harley Reger, Paramedic Carla Sunderland, EMT Chris Burns, and EMT Luke Sanderson, held a CPR class for the teachers and staff at the Blacklick Valley School District.

Members of BVFAS attended the 134th Central District Fireman’s Convention parade this weekend. We are proud to announce BVFAS brought home first place for best appearing EMS Unit.

We at BVFAS took delivery of our brand new 2025 Ford Transit. In the next few weeks we will be working on getting this unit in service. We would like to thank our dedicated employees for making this possible and adding this sixth unit to our fleet.

BIG BIG BIG shoutout to our employee Luke Sanderson for sealing the apron at our building today. It was his day off and he volunteered to do it. It was a big job. He probably regrets it now being that it was 90 degrees and I am sure he got a sunburn.
Thanks also to Chris Burns and Josh Fultz for helping Luke get prepared for the job, and to Chris for helping him clean up. We appreciate all of you!

We would like to thank The Community Foundation for the Alleghenies for the 2025 Fall Grant. We were able to purchase a Video Laryngoscope, an IO Power Driver, and a IO Needle. We appreciate any opportunity that we get to upgrade equipment and supplies. Thank you for making this possible.

Thank you to Stat Medevac for the bag of snacks and to Suzanne at AFLAC for the bagels and cream cheese for EMS Week. As this week comes to a close, we want to thank all the men and women who show up everyday to serve their communities. And a special thanks to all our employees at Station 46, we appreciate every single one of you. Working EMS is sometimes a thankless job, but you guys show up and rock it everyday!
