Twenty-five years later, the sorrow of September 11th remains profound. Today, we come together to honor and remember every life lost on that day. 🇺🇸

This morning, the Nantucket Fire Department held a solemn ceremony to commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, and to honor the victims, their families, and the countless heroes who answered the call.

Fire Chief Cranson, Police Chief Kasper, and members of Nantucket’s public safety community shared words of reflection, followed by the ringing of five bells in remembrance of all those whose lives were lost.

Thank you to community members that gathered outside the station to reflect, remember, and pay their respects.

We will never forget.
