🎃 Halloween Parade: 4 PM
🍬 Nantucket Atheneum Courtyard: Treats and festive community fun beginning at 4 PM
🏛️ NHA Halloween Festivities: 4:30–6 PM at the Discovery Center
💃 Dreamland Costume & Dance Party: 7–10 PM
🎬 Free Halloween Movie at The Dreamland: 8 PM

A piece of Nantucket’s history has resurfaced!
Recent coastal changes have uncovered the remains of a shipwreck along our shoreline. While it’s an incredible glimpse into the island’s maritime past, please use caution if you come across it.
Exposed wood, nails, metal, and other debris may be sharp or unstable. Please admire the wreck from a safe distance, keep children and pets nearby, and avoid climbing on or disturbing the remains.
Enjoy this remarkable piece of Nantucket history, safely!

Weather Advisory: Ferry service to and from Nantucket may be affected by the current weather conditions. Travelers should check directly with their ferry operator before heading to the terminal and monitor Steamship Authority and Hy-Line Cruises for the latest schedule updates.

If you are unable to leave the island due to ferry cancellations or travel disruptions, the Town of Nantucket Culture & Tourism lodging availability list may help identify possible accommodations. This list is for informational purposes only and does not guarantee room availability, reservations, rates, or financial assistance.

The Department of Culture and Tourism offers free-of-charge referral and information service for transportation, tours, lodging, restrooms and activities.

Visitor Services Renovation
Visitor Services, located at 25 Federal Street, will be closed for renovations starting March 3rd for approximately two weeks. We’re replacing the original windows and re-shingling the exterior (dating back to 1964-65).
