The Nahant Life Saving Station parking lot is available for pick up and drop off until 3 PM after which there’s a private function. When the event sign is out, please do not enter the parking lot. Thank you for your cooperation.

🚗 Parking Lot Closure Notice – Friday Afternoon & Evening 🚗

Please note that the Nahant Life Saving Station parking lot will be closed for all pick-ups and drop-offs this afternoon and evening due to today’s special events.

We’re also happy to share that Joanne Bryanos will be on hand selling tickets for Sunday’s Porches & Gardens Tour hosted by the Nahant Garden Club.

🇺🇸 This evening, the Nahant Veterans Social will also be taking place at the Life Saving Station. If you are a veteran or a family member of a veteran, you are warmly invited to join us for an evening of fellowship and community.

Please help us keep everyone safe by making alternate drop-off and pick-up arrangements and avoiding the parking lot during these events.

Thank you for your cooperation and for supporting the many community and veterans’ activities that help preserve and maintain this historic treasure.

Please note that there’s an event at the life-saving station today so plan your pick up and drop offs not to be in the life-saving station parking lot.

The event today is for a great cause. Good Hope Inc, a nonprofit that digs wells in Africa to provide communities with clean drinking water.

If you’re looking for a cause of support today, this should be a good one

⚠️ JUNE 13 & 14 WEEKEND PARKING NOTICE – NAHANT LIFE SAVING STATION ⚠️

With outstanding beach weather expected this weekend, we want to remind everyone that there is NO parking at the Nahant Life Saving Station at any time.

Beginning at 11:00 AM today, the Life Saving Station will be hosting** **a private function, with another event scheduled tomorrow.

🚫 When the EVENT PARKING sign is displayed, please do not pull into the parking lot unless you are attending the scheduled event.

Even if the lot appears empty, those spaces are reserved for event attendees, volunteers, vendors, and staff. Vehicles entering the lot for beach access, temporary parking, turnarounds, or drop-offs can quickly create traffic and parking challenges as guests arrive.

✅ Pick-ups and drop-offs for Short Beach visitors are permitted when no event is taking place.

⏱️ Whether an event is occurring or not, please keep all pick-ups and drop-offs brief. The lot is not intended to be a waiting area or temporary parking location.

Please remember to events held throughout the season provide critical funding that helps preserve and maintain this historic landmark for the community.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we kick off a busy summer season. Your help allows us to safely host events while continuing to protect and preserve one of Nahant’s most important historic treasures.
