Part time, 9-12 hours per week, daily between 12 and 3, days depend on guest departures, pay is $15/hr.

This is a part-time position cleaning and prepping rooms in a Nacogdoches historic home that operates as an Airbnb. When guests leave (check-out is at noon), you will need to thoroughly clean the rooms, remove all bedding and replace with clean bedding, and set rooms up for new guests (check-in is at 3). There is a check list you will be expected to complete, sign, and archive for each room you clean.

You must know how to clean. We will supply all cleaning materials and supplies, but we will assume that you know how to clean hard-wood floors, dust and/or wipe down all surfaces, scrub bathtubs and toilets, clean sinks, dust blinds, etc. If there is dirt or dust left on the floors, hair or soap stains in the bathtub, stains in the toilet, etc., guests will complain. You will be expected to do laundry on site while cleaning and prepping rooms (there are three washer/dryer sets at the house). At least one day per week, when there are no guest departures, you will be expected to clean the common areas in the house. You must be comfortable with 9-12 hours, on average, with some variation by week. If there are no guest departures, you may have as little as 3 hours of work, although this is rare.

You will report directly to a property manager who will be able to hand some room turns on days when you are not available, although the expectation is that you will be able to turn rooms as needed on most days.
