This opportunity is perfect for students entering 1st–5th grade who could benefit from additional literacy support while staying engaged in learning over the summer).

Site Rules:
- Available to all children & teens 18 years or under.
- Each child receives a meal that meets or exceeds USDA Meal pattern requirements.
-Adults may not eat any part of a child's meal.

This summer food program is a part of USDA Food and Nutrition Service and is administered by the Oregon Department of Education Child Nutrition Programs.

Reminder to SUSD families! Summer learning is just around the corner at South Umpqua School District! We’re excited to offer TWO free summer programs: Kinder Jumpstart and Summer Literacy Academy.

Each fantastic program is designed to help elementary students feel confident, supported, and ready for the school year ahead.

🍎 Kinder Jumpstart
A fun transition program for incoming kindergarteners to help them feel ready for their first day of school! Students will meet teachers, make new friends, and learn school routines in a welcoming environment.
