It’s members are made up of volunteer firefighters and support personnel from Carolina Forest who suppor The Carolina Forest Volunteer Firefighters Association was established in June of 2003 to assist with fire protection and medical support for our growing community. Currently, our membership has increased to more than 20 trained and experienced firefighters and EMTs who readily serve Horry Coun
ty and the Carolina Forest community. At Station 39 on Carolina Forest Blvd firefighters work alongside career personnel, while Station 45 on International Dr is staffed entirely by volunteers. We are on call 24 hours a day, each and every day. You might also consider volunteering your time. A growing community such as Carolina Forest requires active members ready to respond to emergency calls, as well as assist with administrative duties. All training is provided, and only a few hours a week are needed. For more information, call (843) 903-4094 or stop by the station and talk with one of the volunteers.
