It’s hard to believe we have already completed our first two weeks of school! From learning and creating to exploring, working together, and simply enjoying being back with friends and teachers, our students have jumped right into another great year at PALS. Take a look through these pictures for just a small glimpse of everything that has already been happening!
If you follow our public page, you may notice that we don’t post as often as some schools, and that’s intentional. We believe in being present and in the moment with our students. There are great things happening here every single day, but our first priority is experiencing those moments alongside our students rather than stopping to share everything publicly.
We’ve also never believed that the work we do needs to be done for recognition or accolades. We don’t do what we do for ourselves; we do it for our students. Keeping students front and center in the decisions we make has been at the heart of PALS for 17 years, and we believe that philosophy has played an important role in the continued success of our school.
Much of the growth of our PALS family has happened the old-fashioned way: through word of mouth. Year after year, our classrooms are almost always full with waiting lists because PALS families share their experiences with other families. There is no greater compliment than having a family trust us with their children and then recommend our school to someone they care about.
And while we may be a little quieter on our public page, our PALS families get to see much more of what happens each day. Through our private, internal communication platform, we regularly share classroom happenings, photos, activities, events, reminders, celebrations, and all those little moments that make up life at PALS. So today, we thought we would share some of those smiles and special moments with everyone!
