It’s What’s Happening Wednesday!
This week, we’re stopping by the Bull Shark Team to see what they’ve been up to!
Mrs. King: We have been working hard on getting to know one another and finding out what things we have in common. We completed several activities as a team in order to define what makes a good team and what the roles of the team members.
In math, we are talking about volume. Students measured boxes and discussed how the orientation of the boxes does not affect the volume of the boxes.
Ms. Zuk: It’s been a busy first few weeks of school in Ms. Zuk’s ELA class! Students have been practicing their cooperative learning structures. In the beginning of the school year, students worked collaboratively to design posters to show what a model classmate and teammate would look like. Students worked together to complete Frayer models with their new vocabulary words, and students played Numbered Heads Together to review their words.
