The Town of Myersville has identified a water leak on the Town water system on Cedar Street, which will require temporary disruption in service to all homes on Cedar Street and portion of Fox Rock Drive, on January 22, 2026 for repair. In order to prevent backflow “drain down” from the homes on Cedar Street, town staff will be closing valves to each home during the repair. This should aid is pressure stabilization when the main line is recharged. It is anticipated disruption of service will occur sometime between the hours of 9AM and 3PM.

The Town would recommend several tips to property owners during this period of disruption. To ensure water is available for use in toilet fixtures, etc., the Town would recommend filling bathtubs prior to disruption. To limit disturbance in the line once the repair is made and service is restored, the Town would recommend opening the cold side of a utility sink or lower level bathtub faucets and running water until any discoloration and/or air has cleared your service line.

The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to thank you in advance for your understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Town offices via e-mail at [email protected]
