Myerstown Borough is testing a new livestream for Council meetings, starting with tonight's Voting Session at 6:30 PM.

This gives residents who can't make it to a meeting a way to still see and hear what's happening. We wanted to make that option available as soon as possible, so bear with us if picture or sound isn't polished during this test phase while the full setup is being completed.

This is the link that will be used for every future meeting, so go ahead and bookmark it:

https://youtube.com//live

It's video only, no live chat or comments. If you'd like to speak during public comment or want your input on the record, plan to attend in person. The Borough's approved written minutes remain the official record of each meeting.

For questions contact the Borough Office or email at [email protected].

Please join us in thanking Luanne and Chris Layser for donating the beautiful flowers you see along Main Street and Railroad Street, and at the Myerstown Pool. Generosity and community spirit like this make Myerstown a wonderful place to be!

The Borough of Myerstown extends a sincere thank you to The Fireplace Christian Fellowship for once again volunteering their time and effort at the Myerstown Recreation Area.

Recently, members of the church helped spread approximately 60 yards of mulch throughout the park and playground areas. Completing this work in one day is a major help to the Borough and saves our small Public Works Department a significant amount of time during a very busy season.

Their service helps keep the Recreation Area safe, clean, and welcoming for families and visitors, while allowing Borough staff to continue working on other important projects throughout the community.

Thank you to The Fireplace Christian Fellowship for your continued partnership and commitment to Myerstown!

REMINDER: Street sweeping will begin TOMORROW! (5/19)

The Borough is pleased to announce that a comprehensive street sweeping operation will begin NEXT WEEK on TUESDAY, May 19, 2026, and is expected to take 2 to 3 days, depending on weather. This operation will cover all roads within the Borough.

PARKING ADVISORY:
To ensure a thorough cleaning all the way to the curb, we strongly advise residents to utilize off-street parking until their street has been swept.

To make parking easy during this time, the Borough has designated several free public parking locations available starting May 19:

Pool Parking Lot: 1 W Center Ave

Community Center Parking Lot: On Center Ave, behind Community Center and Borough Offices

Fish Dam Parking Lot: Off College Street, just north of Richland Ave

“Old Tennis Court” Parking Lot: Off Peach Alley, in the southeast portion of the recreation area

We greatly appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep our Borough clean! Please plan to use these free parking options or other off-street parking during the sweeping period.

For questions or more information, contact the Borough office.
