Today, we are so proud to honor our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Temple Bunyak, and our Support Staff Employee of the Year, Mrs. Sheryl Iacovelli! 💙🐴
Mrs. Bunyak is truly a pioneer in elementary agricultural science! She brings learning experiences and opportunities to our students that many elementary students across our state never get to experience. From hands-on agricultural learning to leading our school’s 4-H program, Mrs. Bunyak teaches our students so much more than what can ever be found in a textbook.
She inspires curiosity, builds confidence, and helps our students understand the importance of agriculture and the world around them. She gives her time, heart, and energy to our students and goes above and beyond every single day. 🌾🐖🌻
Mrs. Iacovelli is one of those special people who simply does whatever is needed to help our students and staff succeed. Last year, she was a tremendous support in an ESE classroom, and this year she has stepped into a key support role in our media center.
No matter where she is serving, Mrs. Iacovelli builds positive relationships with students and staff and makes those around her feel supported and valued. Her flexibility, kindness, and willingness to jump in wherever needed make her an invaluable part of our Mustang family. 💙
We are so fortunate to have educators and support staff who give so much of themselves to make Myakka City Elementary the greatest school on earth!
