Water leak was fixed
Tower was dry
Water is pumping again
Tower is filling. Slowly
Camargo side of tower has lots of air to get out.
Operators have fixed at least 10 leaks in our system since the major earthquake in Texas.
Our ground is dry and hot ground moves.

If you’re driving around and see extra green grass or water in our system please let operators know.

Due to the extreme heat we are respectfully asking all customers to conserve water as much as possible. The prolonged high temperatures have placed significant stress on our water system. Every effort to reduce unnecessary water use is greatly appreciated.

Dewey Co. RWD #3 is seeking a career water operator up to 40 hours per week with DEQ Class D water license required or candidate willing to obtain, clean driving record, good customer relation skills, and must pass drug test. Candidate must possess physical ability to move in and out of deep excavation sites, make pipeline connections, lift in excess of 50 #, operate and maintain backhoe and tractor, responsible for account collections, have good computer skills, and ability to complete all required reports. $18 per hour with possible raise and benefits upon six month evaluation. A Special Meeting of the Dewey County RWD3 will be held May 14, 2026 at 6:30 pm at the water board office to address possible bylaws and amendment thereof and rules and regulations and amendments thereof. All district members are encouraged to attend!
