or just assisting a citizen with changing a smoke detector battery, the men and women of the Mustang Fire Department
are dedicated to our Mission. One of our ongoing goals of the fire departmen

t is to provide Mustang citizens with pre-hospital advanced medical care
(paramedic level). To achieve this goal, department members are being trained in advance medical care and incentives
for firefighters that achieve Intermediate and Paramedic licensure have been instituted. Patients will continue to be
transported to hospital care facilities by EMSA, but Advanced Life Support (ALS) capability by the Mustang Fire Department
has become reality.

At last evening's regular meeting of the Mustang City Council, Mustang's newest officers - Mitch McNamara and David Sebring - received their Oath of Office and were welcomed into the Mustang Police Department. The oath was provided by Police Chief Mike Wallace.

The Mustang Firefighter Freedom Celebration at Wild Horse Park is more than fireworks. It’s a night to celebrate our amazing community!

Join us starting at 6PM for an evening full of family fun, food, fireworks, and incredible hometown performances from some of Mustang’s talented students and athletes!
