I had the privilege of having lunch with participants of the Gadugi Corps Gadugi Summer Program. These young Cherokees are from all over the United States and have chosen to spend their summer learning about and making an impact on communities on the Cherokee Reservation. Wado to these great young leaders!

How it started on the left and how it’s going on the right. Today marks 15 years of marriage with my amazing wife, Dr. Keeli Duncan. Her steadfast support and guidance is what keeps the Duncan’s together. Happy Anniversary, Keeli! I love you deeply.

We had the best time this weekend at the Black Wall Street Legacy Festival in Tulsa! I was blessed with the opportunity to provide a land acknowledgment in Tulsa’s historic Greenwood District at Langston University, Oklahoma’s only HBCU, on Saturday evening. It’s important that we never forget the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre and how it impacted the victims — and continues to impact the descendants of those targeted in that tragedy.

This morning my family and I helped send off the 2026 Remember The Removal Bike Ride cyclists as they head to Cherokee, North Carolina, to join riders from the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians before they officially start the ride on June 1. These 12 individuals will spend the next few weeks retracing the grueling journey our ancestors were forced to endure on foot more than 180 years ago.

Join me in sending these riders, along with their dedicated support staff, lots of prayers and love as they begin their journey.
