Muskogee Public Schools students recently attended the GEAR UP Leadership Ambassador Summit at The University of Oklahoma, where they participated in leadership sessions and team-building activities designed to strengthen leadership skills, foster collaboration, and promote college readiness.

We are proud of these students for representing MPS: Nyah Adair, Bella Kraft, Jaide Butler, Alyssa Smith, and Laynee Falk. 💚

Three outstanding District Teachers of the Year. One incredible school community.

For the third consecutive year, Muskogee Public Schools’ District Teacher of the Year has come from Cherokee Elementary!

Congratulations to 2026 Teacher of the Year Kimberly Davison, 2025 Teacher of the Year Jametra Newton, and 2024 Teacher of the Year Gina Batie.

We loved getting these outstanding educators together for one photo and celebrating the impact they continue to make for our students each day.

We hope your summer is off to a great start, Rougher families! Please note district office hours will change beginning this Friday through July 31.

The Education Service Center and Enrollment Center will be open Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and closed on Fridays. Note: District offices will be closed Thursday, July 2 and Friday, July 3.
