Head Start of Muskegon/Oceana

Head Start of Muskegon/Oceana Head Start of Muskegon/Oceana serves 995 preschool children (ages three - five) throughout Muskegon & Oceana Counties. There is no cost to attend (it's free!).

More than 15 classroom sites are located throughout the two counties. Free bus transportation is provided from children's homes to the classrooms, which operate Monday - Thursday during the school year in half-day sessions (both morning and afternoon). Early Head Start serves 76 pregnant women and children ages birth to three in either center-based child care setting or by visiting homes weekly.

MDHHS began mailing new Bridge Cards. If you haven't received your Bridge Card by Sept. 25, visit MI Bridges or call 1-888-678-8914 to make sure your mailing address is correct. Call the same number if you're having any issues with your new card.

Old cards will stop working Oct. 30.
