🚁 A Heads-Up on Low-Flying Helicopters: June 12–17

If you notice a helicopter flying unusually low over the area next month, there’s no need for alarm!

ITC Michigan will be conducting routine aerial patrols of their high-voltage power lines and equipment across Muskegon County between June 12 and June 12–17 (weather permitting).

What are they doing?
Crews fly at low altitudes to perform close-up visual inspections of the transmission towers and lines. They are checking for any worn equipment, lightning damage, or trees getting a bit too close to the wires so they can make proactive repairs.

What you need to know:
πŸ—“οΈ Dates: June 12 – June 17
πŸ•’ Time: Daytime hours
🚫 Is it an emergency? No! This is completely standard, routine maintenance to keep our regional power grid reliable.

Feel free to share this with your neighbors so everyone knows what's up!
