🚒🍦 Spray Down & Ice Cream Adventure! 🍦🚓

Fruitport Fire, along with Fruitport Police Department and the Muskegon County Sheriff Ice Cream Truck, had a fantastic time visiting the kids at Fruitport Early Childcare Center before they head back to school! 🎉

The kids got to enjoy a fun spray-down adventure with the fire department and, of course, an ice cream treat to top it all off! 💦🍦

A big thank-you to the staff at Fruitport Early Childcare Center for having us out. We love getting the opportunity to spend time with our community’s youngest members! ❤️

📢 Slip and Slide Event Cancellation

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the August 15th Slip and Slide Event has been cancelled.

We are hopeful that we can work out a new date in the near future and will announce the rescheduled date as soon as details are finalized.

We sincerely appreciate everyone who has been involved in making these events possible, as well as everyone who has supported and participated in them. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing everyone at a future event!

The men and women of the Fruitport Fire Department are saddened by the tragic loss of one of our colleagues, Captain Bryan Fethke.

Bryan will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his community and for his willingness to assist neighboring fire departments whenever help was needed. His commitment to the fire service, his fellow firefighters, and those he served left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

To Bryan's family, we extend our deepest and most sincere condolences. To the members of his department, we share in your grief and stand beside you during this difficult time.

Captain Fethke, your service, friendship, and dedication will never be forgotten. You will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Rest easy, Captain.
