We had so much fun during our recent Historic Trolley Ride through Muskegon!
A HUGE thank you to Wendy from the Muskegon Museum of History & Science / Lakeshore Museum Center for providing amazing history of our local area, and to our wonderful trolley driver.
We appreciate everyone who came out for this program, we loved enjoying our community together! ☺️

Nick Veine is a singer-songwriter and composer born and raised in Manistee, MI. He grew up playing rock and blues before he started singing, pivoting to acoustic music without losing that electric flair.

His passion encouraged him to attend Berklee College of Music, where he earned his Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Writing & Production and eventually to pursuing and completing a Master of Music in Classical Composition at Belmont University. Degrees aside, some of the best education he got was from collaborating with other musicians in jam sessions, private lessons, and a ca****la groups.

You can see him nowadays playing around the mitten performing his eclectic mix of blues, country, jazz, and original music. Think Johnny Cash meets James Taylor meets Alan Menken

We're SO excited for our Summer Reading Kick-Off Event, happening THIS Saturday, May 30 from 10am-1pm in Hackley Park!

**Johnathan Rand, author of Michigan Chillers & American Chillers series, will be in Hackley Park from 11:00am-12:00pm! He'll also be signing books (feel free to bring your own books, plus he'll have books available to purchase).

** Tacey's Tiptop Entertainment will be in Hackley Park from 12:00-1:00pm with a NERF challenge to participate in!

We'll have a huge variety of activities to enjoy, including (but not limited to):
